Par Tee Golf: Plenty Of Golf Left
In this week’s fun filled outing, tied for first place were Doris Neimeth and Nancy Heffernan with a score of 68. Peg Ansbro had 69. In the seventies were: Barbara Caramelli (71) and Jane Higgins (72). The duo of Marge Lentnek and Pam Armour scored 77 and the quartet of Marilyn Higgins, Dotty Dunne, Helen Mele and Jo Sullivan finished with 78. Pat Kelly had 79. Birdies belong to Doris Neimeth, Marge Lentnek and Peg Ansbro.
Chip-ins were achieved by Jo Sullivan, Betty Monahan, Marilyn Higgins and Barbara Feddern. Closest to the pin on #10 was Barbara Caramelli with a distance of 5 feet and 10 inches. The winner on #18 was Marge Lentnek with a score of 18 feet. The winner of the Peggy Wheeler 50/50 was Dotty Dunne.
Dates To Remember: The Emily Basher Tournament will be held on August 25 and September 1 and the rain date is September 8.
The closing luncheon is slated for Thursday, September 15 at Russo’s on the Bay. The co-chairladies, Betty Weed, Carol Smyth and Nancy Heffernan, are collecting checks made out to Par Tee Golf!
The cost is $40 for members and $50 for non-members. If paying with cash, please put the money in an envelope and write your name and the amount enclosed on the front. Donations are needed for the raffle – please contact the co-chairladies with your gift.
