Hoyt To Teach Watercolor At RAA

Ellen Hoyt is a local master of watercolor, active in the Brooklyn Watercolor Society and the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition. She is also an educator at the Salt Marsh Nature Center on Avenue U in Brooklyn and a member of the Rockaway Artists Alliance. Hoyt will be teaching a two-day watercolor workshop at RoCA, Fort Tilden, on Thursday and Friday, August 25 and 26. Class starts at 10 a.m. and runs all day. Hoyt rarely brings her class to Rockaway, so if you’ve been waiting for the right time to try your hand at this art medium, this may be it! Call Hoyt at 718-338-7281 for information including fees. To view the artist’s work online, go to www.bwac.org or www.bws.org.
