During the school year, students raised funds collected through the Common Cents “Penny Harvest.”

The United Methodist Center of Far Rockaway Soup Kitchen was one organization to which the pupils decided to donate. Other selections included the Ronald McDonald House, The Make A Wish Foundation, and the Child Abuse Prevention Program, or CAPP.
