Peninsula Hospital Center, following very positive feedback from the Joint Commission after a recent survey, treated its staff to an “Ice Cream Social” in appreciation for their outstanding performance and professionalism.

The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 19,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards.

Under the supervision of Lisa Tripoli, general manager, Food and Nutrition Department, Hospital Center employees were treated to ice cream and nearly every imaginable topping!

Robert V. Levine, president and Chief Executive Officer, and other members of the Hospital Center’s Administrative Team, met and greeted the employees and expressed their appreciation for a job well done.
