Latriano Honored For Exceptional Service
Theresa Latriano, volunteer at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation, who has contributed more than 4,000 hours of her time to volunteering in the Recreation Therapy Department, was recently honored by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of the Community Service Society of New York. Theresa was invited to join other honorees at the Consolidated Edison sponsored
Recognition Breakfast in May of 2011 and was among the very few to receive the highest honor, the President’s Service Award as presented by Fred Solazzi, Associate Director, Voluntary Initiatives. The honorees received commendations from New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg for their incredible devotion to volunteer service.
