REMINDER: Checks are being collected for the Guys and Dolls Tournament to be held on Thursday, July 21. The price is $25 per player. The luncheon only is $15 per attendee. Please make the checks out to Par Tee Golf. Betty Monahan and Marilyn Higgins are co-chairing the event.

If you have your foursomes made please send the names along with the check. Remember foursomes can be assigned! It will be an 8 a.m. shotgun start and the format is a scramble. Many thanks go to Pat and Jim McEnaney for their very generous donations.

These gifts will be for prizes after the tournament. If anyone would like to make a donation please drop it off at Betty Monahan’s home at 38 Beach 221 Street.

Welcome back to Eileen Watson! Your knowledge and expertise of the game was missed by all!! I hope everyone is enjoying the short written lesson on golfing and chipping that I offered last Thursday.

A lawyer was playing golf when he got hit by a ball. When the player came over looking for the ball, the lawyer said, “I’m a lawyer, and this will cost you $5000.” “I’m sorry,” said the golfer. “But I did say ‘fore.’ “I’ll take it,” said the lawyer.

God Bless! Have a great week!
