Seeks Quick Return Of Important Documents

Rosemary Keany is in a quandary.

The Arverne By The Sea woman had a car broken into by persons unknown on Tuesday night, June 7, and a number of very important documents and flash drives relating to work with blind students were taken from the car, along with a Department of Education computer.

“I know that we’re not going to get the computer back,” Keany said, “but the flash drives and documents are critical in the treatment of a number of blind youngsters.”

She hopes that the person who took the material will return it to her or if they threw it away and some good Samaritan will find it and return it.

“It has no value except to those who are working with the kids,” she said. “It’s their data and their treatment plans and programs, and I’m hoping that somebody will bring it to me.”

She urges anybody who finds the material to call her on her cell phone at 718-689-0743.
