Cops Seek Missing Rockaway Beach Man

Detectives from the 100 Precinct in Rockaway Park are seeking an elderly man who has been missing from a Manhattan hospital since Monday, June 6. The man has been identified by police as Lineberg Johnson, 80, of 407 Beach 66 Street, who has been missing since 2:24 p.m. on Monday at the CUNY Medical Center on Convent Avenue in Manhattan.

Police say he suffers from both Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease. He is described by police as a black male, five feet, seven inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Johnson was last seen wearing a black Hawaiian shirt with white flowers, black pants, gray sneakers and brown glasses. Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
