PS/MS 105’s Social Studies Students Expand Their World
PS/MS 105’s Social Studies department completed their last trip this year at the Museum of Natural History. Connecting real life experiences to their curricula, Mr. Krieger and Mr. Super organized field trips to locations such as the Cloisters museum, the Museum of the City of New York, and a special visit to New York University to promote college and career readiness. In addition, PS/MS 105’s 6th grade team collaborated for a visit to New York City’s Museum of Jewish Heritage as part of their Holocaust unit in social studies. The students gained memorable experiences and a wealth of knowledge, which is evident in their writings on the topics addressed on the trips and in class.
