SJEH Goes Green For Spring


The gardeners at SJEH gather together to mark the start of the growing season. The gardeners at SJEH gather together to mark the start of the growing season. The staff of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital took up their shovels and planted flower gardens around the Hospital campus, beautifying the surrounding neighborhood around Brookhaven and Plainview Avenues between Beach 19 and 20 Streets, on Wednesday, May 11. As they do every year, the staff “adopts” a tree and garden and tends it all through the spring and summer. At summer’s end, a horticulturalist judges the best gardens.
