With the appointment of Captain Michael J. LiPetri in May of last year, the official says, the 101 Precinct community has experienced marked communication improvement and support from this commander. For this reason, the 101 Precinct Community Council presented him with the “Captain to the Community” Award on Wednesday, May 11 at Inwood Country Club.

Proclamations were issued from US Senator Charles Schumer, State Senator Malcolm Smith, and Assemblywoman Michele Titus. Additionally, a large host of community and friends were in attendance to show their appreciation.
