Quick-Fix Up For Rockies Hockey Rink

The Parks Department brought in the shock troops to give the Rockaway Rockies Hockey Rink on Beach 108 Street and Shore Front Parkway a quick fixup.

Despite the fact that the hockey season is still months away, the rink was repaired in time for this weekend’s bicycle event, which will be held at the versatile parks facility.

The fix-up consisted of patching and repainting the rink deck and boards, as well as fixing up the benches and other hockey-related equipment
