Peninsula Hospital Center Honors Nurses
Peninsula Hospital Center recognizes its nurses during National Nurses Week each year by honoring two exceptional LPNs and two exceptional RNs. This year, an evening reception was held in their honor at Russo’s on the Bay in Howard Beach, which was attended by administrative and nursing staff, friends and family. Peninsula Hospital Center honored Maureen Ermann, RN, and Anna Grant, LPN. Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation honored Andrea Kennedy-Drysdale, RN, and Rilwan Akinola, LPN.
Patte Bogen Roberts, vice chairperson of the Hospital Center’s Board of Directors, acted as the hostess of the event, a position she has held for many years. In addition to the sumptuous buffet, there were raffle prizes, good fun and camaraderie. Each Nurse of Distinction was presented with a beautiful award, flowers and many kudos from his or her peers. Robert V. Levine, president and Chief Executive Officer, said in his remarks, “We are extremely fortunate at both Peninsula Hospital Center and PCECR to have such a professionally excellent and dedicated nursing staff. This reception is a wonderful venue in which to convey our sincere appreciation to the entire nursing staff.”
