A shallow interpretation of the facts. Obama just happened to be the president when this miscreant was tracked down. You neglect to credit the intel the yielded Bin Laden. Intel that came from the very enhanced interrogation techniques that Obama was opposed to. Even Obama's administration wonks agree to this. While I wouldn't give a lick of credit to Clinton, Bush did facilitate the end of Bin Laden. Credit goes to Obama for not standing in the way those standing orders. It was a political risk, which is why he spent the better part of a day trying to figure out just what he should do. 16 hours in fact. I think any sitting president would have dispatched the seals a whole lot earlier than that. Still, revel in this moment, there are precious few when it comes to this presidency. I can see that this highlight of Obama's rather lackluster spendthrift administraiton, will be the football he'll spike from here till the next election. Looks like you'll be snapping it for him.
