No Such Thing As A $10 Taco

Dear Editor,

Bringing up a lawsuit by six employees of David Selig who owned a restaurant chain in Brooklyn is fair game …assuming it is true … but how do I know it’s true when so much else in Howard Schwach’s May 6 Commentary is patently false?

A $10 taco! Rockaway Taco doesn’t sell $10 tacos. I doubt you can find a $10 taco anywhere in the world yet the Editor of The Wave accuses Rockaway Taco of overpriced $10 tacos. I’ve eaten frequently at Rockaway Taco.

Dear Editor, you can buy 3 tacos for $10 and still have money left over. That’s 3 tacos with quality ingredients, made fresh on the premises. They also taste great as long as you eat them right away … because that’s how you eat a taco. Howard, you are not young and you are not cool. Neither am I … but I do like the surfers, the young, and the entrepreneurs who are trying to make it in the Rockaways. What do you have against them? And what do you have against a bit of veracity in reporting?

Janine, you will have money

Janine, you will have money left over but judging by the last few reviews over at Yelp.com you will have very little time to eat them if you are on your lunch hour. As James Mtume likes to say, "there's your answer, my answer and then THE ANSWER!" which in this case is somewhere between you and Howie.
