Streets Blocked For Opening Of New Yeshiva



Local residents found that side streets from Beach 9 Street to, according to one resident, Beach 20 Street were blocked for awhile on Sunday, May 1, as congregants and many other members of the Jewish faith celebrated the opening of Yeshiva Darchei Torah on Beach 17 Street. The streets were blocked so that the large crowd attending the ceremonies could walk from the Congregation Darchei Torah on Beach 12 Street to the new school for the opening.
