Peninsula Hospital Center Honors‘Employees of Excellence’
Peninsula Hospital Center and Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation have selected their Employees of Excellence for the quarter. Cory Botwin, member of the Hospital Center’s Environmental Department, was selected because of his willingness to always go above and beyond and for the excellence with which he performs his duties. His immediate supervisor, Michael Valentino, director, Facilities Operations, pointed out, “Cory not only does his work, but is always willing to do more. Cory’s attitude each and every day is remarkable and it is a real pleasure to see him rewarded with the Employee of Excellence Award – he truly deserves it.”
Andrea Kennedy-Drysdale, RN, is a member of the Nursing Department at Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation on the 4-Bay Unit. Her peers all agree that Kennedy-Drysdale has exceptional nursing skills. Sharon Brown, RN, Director of Nursing at PCECR, was quick to applaud Kennedy-Drysdale’s selection as Employee of Excellence. “She exemplifies excellence in her profession and sets a fine example for her fellow nurses. She goes about her job quietly and capably and if something needs to be done, she just does it. Her professional excellence translates into excellent care for our residents.”
