Christopher Patrick Hannan
Chris serves as the lead New York trial attorney for the law firm of Kelly, Jasons, Mc- Gowan, Spinelli and Hanna, LLP. As a seasoned litigator with nearly two decades of trial experience, Chris has enjoyed great success in managing numerous complex civil litigation cases throughout the country on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to entering private practice, Chris was fortunate to have gained his initial trial experience when, upon graduating from law school, he was appointed to be a criminal prosecutor with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. Throughout his six years as a Senior Assistant District Attorney, Chris successfully prosecuted dozens of high level felony cases throughout the borough.
A lifelong resident of Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn, and proud member of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Chris is lucky to have been raised in one of Brooklyn’s oldest and strongest Irish- American communities. Indeed, as the youngest male in a relatively small Irish family of 12 children, the lessons of his Irish culture and heritage were imparted to him at a very early age by his wonderful parents, Mary Ellen and James Patrick Hannan, as well as the great people within the Holy Name community.
Chris presently serves as an officer of the Irish American Building Society, Inc. (IABS), a not-for profit charitable organization comprised of dozens of New York City’s Irish-American business leaders.
