Changed The World

Dear Editor,

Just look at what one man has done to change the world by simply telling the truth. Julian Assange of Wikileaks is a true hero; he is telling it like it is with facts and figures. Some say that the truth hurts. Some say that the truth will set you free, and some say that the truth will set you up. Some of our leaders don’t believe in telling it like it is. Amongst them is our president, Barack Obama, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, even though they have witnessed the results of the truth in the Arab world with the massive demonstrations recently. Now they are jumping on the bandwagon when they see that there is no way the past can be kept secret. The past that our country not only endorsed but supplied the dictators with American dollars to carry out the brutality. Thanks to Julian Assange for bringing the truth out, but that has nothing to do with Obama and Clinton, who is demanding that England send him to America to be put on trial for espionage. Why is most of the world hailing him as a hero and we are portraying him as a traitor even though he is now on the list for the Noble Peace Prize? Are we petrified of the truth that is already in the pipeline and will eventually come out when the time comes?

Julian Assange is not only a hero; he is a Genius to set up every country to bring out the information on them at timed intervals and there isn’t a living soul in the world that knows how to stop it from happening. Some people just can’t handle the truth. Hopefully England will ignore the call from America and do the right thing in the name of democracy, even though England never knew the meaning, or didn’t want to know the meaning, of democracy.

Don’t our leaders think it is time to stop making back room deals that exclude the public? The so-called “Behind the Scenes” deals should end. That is not going to happen as long as the politicians believe that the public is not capable of deciding what is best for them and they, the politicians, must speak for them. Those days should be over with. We have to give more credit to the citizens or we will find ourselves on demonstration lines. The arrogance of our leaders will bring that on, and I believe sooner than later. The voice of the masses is the real meaning of the truth.
