Rockaway Little League Holds Winter Baseball Clinic



The Rockaway Little League recently participated in a baseball clinic for third-, fourth- and fifth-grade boys at Xaverian High School. The clinic was held every Tuesday in January and 40 boys in all age groups participated. Two additional sessions will be added in February at Bishop Ford. In addition, 25 K to secondgrade boys and 15 boys in the sixth- to eighth-grade group will kick off there indoor clinic in February. All sessions are run by high school coaches and players. This is the second year Rockaway Little League has run a Winter Clinic to prepare the boys for the season ahead. Registration for the 2011 Rockaway Little League season closes February 23.
