Employees at Peninsula Hospital Center recently made a generous donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in the name of Marlon Trammell. Joseph Muré Jr., Esq., member of the JDRF’s Board of Directors for 12 years, accepted the donation on behalf of the JDRF, saying, “This donation from the Hospital Center’s employees means a great deal. I know it comes from their hearts and that matters very much to me.” Muré, also a very active member of Peninsula Hospital Center’s Board of Directors, is known for his own fundraising and activism benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Muré’s generosity enables the Hospital Center to retain the services of a highly specialized pediatric endocrinologist, Constance Stewart, M.D., who treats children with diabetes at Peninsula Hospital Center.
