Hot Shooting Leads To Bantam Boys Win

`The sub novice SFDS Blue CYO basketball team played another great game last Saturday against St. Pat’s.

Danny Endall had the hot hand offensively hitting three buckets. Ian Byrne also found the basket as well as James Agoglia, Jason Moore and Mike DeMarco.

The boys played aggressive defense for the entire game. Christian Zirino-Rodriguez and Cooper Nagle pressured the ball up front while Joe Featherston, and Christian Agoglia played well down low.

Dillon Ostrander and Terence Marten did a great job on the boards.

This weekend the boys will play Our Lady of Grace on Saturday and SFDS Gold on Sunday.

SFDS Bantam Boys defeated Good Shepherd 41-18. The Bantam attack was noteworthy for its balance. Teddy Stathis scored 6 points in drives to the basket. Ben Edwards got his 6 points from the low post, and John Keeler had his 6 from the outside. Matt Coletta and Kyle Hoffman were defensive stoppers.

The Intermediate girls lost a tough game to Mary’s Nativity, 37-32.
