Beach Channel High School teacher Mrs. Greco’s Spanish class got a taste of authentic Spanish cuisine recently. Incorporating schools without walls and careers in the restaurant business, students visited Brisas Del Mar, located at 9902 Rockaway Beach Boulevard on December 9. Prior to the luncheon, students practiced reading, writing and ordering foods in Spanish. In the restaurant, students were able to order foods in Spanish and discuss various career opportunities. Upon returning to class, the students developed their own menus as restaurant business owners.
