Busted For Assault At Bungalow Bar
A local woman was arrested on January 3 for a New Year’s Day assault on another woman at a local bar’s annual festivities.
According to court records supplied by Queens District Attorney Richard Brown, the two women were at the Bungalow Bar on Beach 92 Street and Beach Channel Drive at about 10 p.m. on January 1.
An altercation broke out between Shannon Barr and Coleen Brady, both in their 20s, according to sources.
Brady then allegedly assaulted Barr, knocking her to the floor.
Brady left the scene, but was arrested at the 100 Precinct a few days later.
Brady was charged with third degree assault and given a Desk Appearance Ticket (DAT), which requires her to be back in court to answer the charges on January 20.
