Aviator Sports Sets New Year’s Eve Program

Before ringing in the New Year, New York families are invited to work up a sweat and cheer on the New York Aviators – New York City’s only minorleague hockey team – on Friday, December 31 from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Aviator Sports & Events Center, located at 3159 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn’s new Floyd Bennett Field (exit 11S off Belt Parkway).

“The ‘Aviator Family New Year’s Eve Party’ offers families access to many of the activities at New York’s premier multi-sports indoor sports facility,” says a spokesperson.

For $20 per person, guests receive access to the following activities: a ticket to the NY Aviators VS Danbury Whalers minor-league hockey game at 3:05 p.m.; a public ice skating session; ice skating rental; plus unlimited access to the rock climbing wall and the sky bounce.

Families are invited to come for a few hours or stay all afternoon. The Aviator food court is reasonably priced and will be open all day serving pizza, chicken nuggets, salads, sandwiches, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of snacks. The Aviator Sky Box offers adult beverages and more formal dining including burgers, salads and ribs. For more information, visit www.aviatorsports.com or call 718-758-7500.
