More than 100 people showed up opposite the firehouse on Beach 116 Street on Friday night to light the traditional Christmas Tree. The crowd was serenaded by the kids’ chorus from the Rockaway Theatre Company’s Children’s Workshop and visited by Santa Claus, who arrived in a police car.
