Three old timers as indigenous to the Rockaways ...as Playland

Is this old ad from the late 1930s are found three old names from the old amusement section of Rockaway Beach. The names are Nathan Faber, John Gibbs and Sidney Kahn. Together they operated Rockaway Skills Games, Inc., based at Beach 99 Street on the boardwalk. They owned and operated many skills games in and out of Playland on the boardwalk and the boulevard. Another spot was on the boardwalk in Edgemere. The Faber name is in the pioneer category as far as the history of the amusement world goes in Rockaway Beach. The last spot was at Beach 98 Street and Rockaway Beach Boulevard, recently demolished for new housing construction, and popularly known as “Pinky’s” Fascination.
