PCECR Sets New Communication Disorders Supe


Janet Miele-Powers, Sr. Vice President, Administrator, Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation (PCECR), has announced the appointment of Debra Zeitlin, MSCCC-SLP, as the Supervisor of Communication Disorders. Zeitlin has a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Towson University in Towson, Maryland and holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University. She comes to PCECR from South Side Hospital in Bayshore, New York. Zeitlin, a specialist in all communication disorders, has a focus in dysphagia (swallowing disorders) and traumatic brain injuries. “The staff has been wonderful helping me familiarize myself with the existing services in all areas of both Peninsula Hospital Center and PCECR.
