PHC Employees Run The NYC Marathon

Fellow staff member, Cayito Velez, Dietary Aide, also ran the Marathon and the two were praised and admired for their efforts. “My husband also ran in the marathon and finished in only 3 hours and 21 minutes,” said Jara proudly. “I’m not quite as fast as he is, but I love running and next year, perhaps I will keep up with him.” Jara was presented with a bouquet of flowers and many, many congratulations from fellow staff members at the Hospital Center.
