Rockaway Kids Pack Aviators Hockey Game

PS 114, Rockaway Rockies See Tight Game

One Rockaway Park youth was greeted by Ace, the Aviator’s mascot, at the door. One Rockaway Park youth was greeted by Ace, the Aviator’s mascot, at the door. Lots of Rockaway kids packed Aviator Sports at Floyd Bennett Field last Saturday night as the New York Aviators took on the Broome County Barons for a 3-2 win, with the A’s down two players for the last two minutes of the game.

The Rockaway kids, from Public School 114 in Belle Harbor and the Rockaway Rockies Roller Hockey League, cheered the home team to the win.
Kids from the Rockies Roller Hockey League and PS 114 were treated to a pre-game tour of the Aviators locker room to meet the players and get autographs.
