The Green Bus Lines Of The Late 1930s

With this old ad from the Green Bus Lines at Rockaway Beach and Far Rockaway comes some information about this line’s early operation on the Rockaway peninsula. Best of all in this antique ad, we get a look at the old Green Line antique buses of the late 1930’s, which I believe were “Mack” buses. There was no air conditioning, but the seats were rather comfortable on these old rigs.
