Sanders Helps RDRC To Raise Funds

On Thursday, October 14, Rockaway Development & Revitalization Corporation (RDRC) held its Eighth Annual Golf Tournament at Inwood Country Club. “In addition to a great day of golf, food and prizes, the event continues to provide much needed financial support of our youth and adults programs,” stated RDRC’s 1st vice president and Golf Committee chairperson, Cesar Aviles.

This year’s golf event received an extra boost of energy from Councilman James Sanders Jr., who served as the master of ceremonies. For RDRC’s Executive Director Kevin Alexander, “Councilman Sanders did a great job at conveying the importance of supporting our programs for youth and adults. Councilman’s quick wit was definitely a hit with the audience and we’ll definitely have to bring him back next year for an encore performance!”
