Action Center Hosts Halloween Party

On Friday, October 29, the Action Center for Education and Community Development Inc. held its annual Halloween event. This year’s theme was a haunted house; there were ghouls and goblins at every turn. This haunted house was certainly not for the faint of heart. The haunted house began with a walk past the cemetery that would often foreshadow what was to come as well as warn newcomers of their impending doom. Then the guest would have to find her/his way through the dark and smoky maze, where ghouls lay in wait. After enduring the maze the guest had to make her/his way through a group of dancing zombies, and just when you thought it was over there was one last fright as you were exiting the building. Nearly 300 kids participated in this year’s event. On Friday, October 29, the Action Center for Education and Community Development Inc. held its annual Halloween event.
