Fall Festival Draws Hundreds To Bayswater Park

Hayrides, pony rides, arts and crafts, candied apples, a bounce house, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch and games were all part of the New York City Parks and Recreation’s annual Rockaway Fall Festival held at Bayswater Park last weekend. The four-hour, October 17 event, with its emphasis on children, brought out hundreds on a beautiful autumn afternoon in Rockaway. Councilman James Sanders Jr. sponsored the festival.
