Rockaway Task Force Meeting Set For October 20
Councilmember Eric A. Ulrich is urging residents to attend the second public meeting of the Rockaway Task Force and discuss important issues facing the peninsula.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 20 in PS 114 (134-01 Cronston Avenue, Belle Harbor) starting at 7 p.m. This is the second public meeting of the Task Force, which is comprised of peninsula residents, and was created earlier this year to tackle issues facing Rockaway including economic development, transportation and land use. The effort is being sponsored by Ulrich, Councilmember James Sanders and Deputy Mayor Howard Wolfson.
A third and final Task Force meeting will be held in Sander’s office on November 15. After that, the Task Force will issue its recommendations to the Mayor’s office.
