PS/MS 105 Celebrates Peace Day

The United Nations has declared September 21 as International Day of Peace. All around the world people observe a day of peace and nonviolence. The students and staff at PS/MS 105, led by librarian Helen Feldman, wrote messages of peace on a leaf which was then placed on a “peace tree” created by art teacher, Norma Allende. The Peace Tree will remain in the lobby of the school as a reminder to all that we need to live in a world of peace and non-violence.
