There has been much controversy over the immigration laws in Arizona, but I am on the side of Arizona. The illegal alien situation has gotten out of hand and if they have to stop people for proof of legalization so be it. Why in the world are people so sensitive? What’s the big deal to show proof when you have it? Arizona has a much bigger problem to contend with and if it takes these mea-sures to stop illegal aliens from crossing the border, legal Amer-icans should welcome their efforts. But, beyond all of that, have you ever been to Arizona?

I learned all these things at a Tradeshow at the Athletic Club where I met some of the Hoteliers at a beautiful luncheon for the media at A Voice, 10 Columbus Circle where I was seated next to Douglas MacKen-zie, Phoenix Director of Communications. The sun shines all year round in Arizona and if their people are as charming as I met in NYC, I am anxious to visit the State that is the Heart of America. The video they showed was so enticing you really should put this on your must visit list.

The Children’s Club had the annual expo at the Javit’s Center and I discovered very attractive children’s watches at low, low prices. I actually saved my-self a manicure this week when I discovered decorated nails by Broadway Diva you can purchase at Walgreens and CVS for almost nothing. Glue them on for the expensive manicured look, no drying time and you are good to go. And for the little ones and teens, Pink by Kiss at these stores to decorate with flowers and hearts and stars and other designs on the tips of their nails. It takes so little time and Viola! nails to flaunt on that special occasion or just pretty nails for any ordinary day. The Diva nails last up to two weeks.
