Two Shot Outside Redfern Houses

Two Rockaway men were shot by an unknown thug outside of a Redfern Houses apartment building early on Sunday morning, police sources say.

The two unidentified victims, a 34- year-old-man who lives on Seagirt Boulevard and a 22-year-old man who lives on Far Rockaway Boulevard, were reportedly walking outside of 1540 Hassock Avenue in Far Rockaway when an unidentified shooter plugged multiple shots in the direction of the two men.

The 34-year-old was shot twice, once in the butt and once in the left calf.

The younger man was shot four times, once in the left arm, once in the right butt, once in the left calf and once in the right calf.

The two men were transported to Jamaica Hospital by EMS ambulance.

None of the wounds were life threatening, police say.
