New York City Century Bike Tour Touches Rockaway And Other Four Boroughs

Hundreds of bicycle riders touched Rockaway on Sunday, September 12, as part of Transportation Alternative’s NYC Century Bike Tour. Riders could choose from starting either at Central Park in Manhattan or Prospect Park in Brooklyn and could choose to ride increments ranging from 15 miles to 100 miles. Those who came to Rockaway came over the Gil Hodges Marine Parkway Bridge, east on Rockaway Beach Boulevard to Beach 108 Street and then to Shore Front Parkway and back to the Belt Parkway via the Cross Bay Bridge.
