A’s Add Power Forward With Signing Of Bain

Chris Bain started his career with the London Knights. Chris Bain started his career with the London Knights. Rob Miller, head coach and president of the FHL’s New York Aviators, is proud to release the signing of forward Chris Bain for the upcoming 2010-11 season.

Bain, the 6’-0” left winger, hails from Sudbury, Ontario. He began his career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the London Knights and spent the next four seasons in the League with various teams. He then moved to the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League (OPJHL) with the Milton Icehawks. Additionally, Bain spent time in the Central Hockey League (CHL) where he collected 263 penalty minutes in 55 games played. The 25-year-old forward also played in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) and last played in the Ligue Nord Américaine de Hockey (LNAH) with the Sorel-Tracy Mission. Coach Miller commented, “Chris [Bain] is the power forward we’ve been searching for that can mix it up if the need arises. We are happy to welcome him to Brooklyn.”

The New York A’s will take to the ice this fall at Aviator Sports and Events Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Aviator Sports and Events Center is a world class multi-use sporting and event complex. Aviator Sports has refurbished four historic aircraft hangars and surrounding grounds, in partnership with the National Park Service.
