Marie G. Ferraro, a longtime Rockaway resident, died September 6.

Ferraro was born in Brooklyn, New York and later moved to Rockaway, working as an administrator.

Ferraro was preceded in death by her husband, Bruno and son, Gary.

She is survived by her son, Bruce J.; grandsons, John and Robert; and daughter-in-law, Suzie.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Denis S. O’ Connor Funeral Home, Rockaway Beach. Visitation will take place from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 10. A funeral mass will take place at St. Thomas More Church, Rockaway Point on Saturday September 11 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will remain private.
