Catherine H. Cuomo, a 60-year Rockaway resident, died September 6.

Cuomo was born in Brooklyn, New York. She was a member of the St. Virgilius Church Golden Age Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 1404.

Cuomo was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.

She is survived by her children, Maryann, Ellen, Nick (Peggy) and James (Ellen); and grandchildren, Dan, Kevin, John, Thomas and Mary.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hillebrand Funeral Home, Broad Channel. A funeral mass took place at St. Virgilius Church, Broad Channel. Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York.
