Staff members of St. John’s Episcopal Hospital participated in the Marcum Workplace Challenge and 3.5 mile run/walk on Tuesday, August 3, at Jones Beach. The Marcum Workplace Challenge was a huge success with thousands of runners and walkers participating from all over Long Island. After the run/walk, the St. John’s team enjoyed a catered meal together under a tent. Staff came from many hospital departments as well as Bishop Mac- Lean Nursing Home including: Community Mental Health Center; Engineering; Internal Medicine; Laboratory; Nursing; Security; and Administration. The team was sponsored by Paul Strongwater of Tudor Packaging and Bart Kavanaugh of South Bay Partners, LLC.
