Ronald P. Driscoll
Ronald P. Driscoll, a 35-year resident of Rockaway, died on August 18.
Born in Manhattan, Driscoll served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He went on to work for the Central Intelligence Agency as an intelligence analyst. Driscoll then worked in the shipping industry for 27 years as a regional sales manager for the Matson Navigation Company.
Driscoll was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Msgr. Burke Council) and a parishioner at St. Francis de Sales.
He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Driscoll.
He is survived his wife, Patricia Kerr Driscoll, his son, Patrick Driscoll, his sister, Jean Aviles, and his brother Thomas Driscoll.
Visitation will be held at Denis S. O’Conner Funeral Home on Saturday, August 21 from 7 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, August 22, from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales in Belle Harbor on Monday at 9:45 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale, Long Island.
