Longtime Breezy Point resident John “Jack” F. Sullivan died on August 13.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era and went on to work for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Junie.

He is survived by his sister, Theresa Culimore and seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church in Rockaway Point.

Disposition, arranged by the Denis S. O’Connor Funeral Home, remains private.
