Overloaded Church Van Strikes Auto On SFP


An eyewitness says that an overloaded church van owned by the Community Life Ministries cut directly across Shore Front Parkway at Beach 74 Street and struck a private automobile shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 1. The Ford van, driven by Peter French of Arverne held more than a dozen kids, the eyewitness says. The official police report says that the driver of the 1998 Honda, Lukasz Boruch of Shore Front Parkway in Rockaway Beach, was driving westbound on the Parkway at 11:20 a.m. when the church van struck his car.
