Welcome To Rockaway’ Sign Replaced

The Welcome to Rockaway sign which was torn down during a violent windstorm this past March has been replaced by the Rockaway Chamber of Commerce. The new sign was made by Paul Ohana of ADP Signs of Rockaway Park and sponsored through the generosity of Lou Caucig and Councilman Eric Ulrich. “I am happy to see this vital landmark restored,” stated Chamber president John Lepore. “The Chamber has received many inquiries regarding the sign and its fate and we are all grateful for the support we have received in restoring it.” Pictured, from left, are Lepore, Chamber president and Caucig, member of the board of directors.
