Peninsula Hospital Hosts Fundraiser

The Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliary recently hosted a Summer Fundraiser and Membership Meeting at Vetro, by Russo’s on the Bay, in Howard Beach. Members, both new and true, gathered together to enjoy the fine cuisine and atmosphere and make fundraising plans to benefit Peninsula Hospital Center. Just this year, the PHC Auxiliary raised more than $30,000 which will go towards Hospice Care as well as programs and services at the Hospital Center, including Ambulatory Chemotherapy. “It is our pleasure to work for Peninsula Hospital Center,” says Sheila Schwartz, the group’s president. “We have a wonderful, hardworking executive board and a growing membership. As always, we invite people to join us on the first Tuesday of each month at 12 noon in the Meditation Room of Peninsula Center for Extended Care and Rehabilitation. We do work hard, but we also sincerely enjoy ourselves.” The Peninsula Hospital Center Auxiliary recently hosted a Summer Fundraiser and Membership Meeting at Vetro, by Russo’s on the Bay, in Howard Beach.
