Gateway Invites Families To Discover Wildlife

What materials do birds use to make a cozy home? Explore the answers to this at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Gateway National Recreation Area/National Park Service on Sunday, July 11, 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. This is for those who are 4-8 years old, accompanied by an adult. Participants will discover animal homes, do an art project, and take a nature walk to see some of Jamaica Bay’s most famous bird homes. Reservations required: 718-318-4340. Please bring insect/-sun protection, drinking water, and sunscreen.
