Praise to Local Pharmacy

Dear Editor,

I would like to remind the people living in the Rockaways of a business establishment located at 194 Beach 116 street, namely “King’s Pharmacy”.

I have been to other similar stores but King’s Pharmacy far exceeds any one of them. They have a staff starting with Joanie who is at rear counter who always greets you with a smile and a warm sincere greeting. She is extremely respectful, patient and helpful.

King’s Pharmacy has probably the best pharmacists on the Rockaway peninsula.

Jay and Stuart are outstanding in meeting your needs. They answer any question you may have and take the time to advise or suggest what they would recommend.

They are so patient, competent, helpful, and extremely respectful. They have assistants, namely Amanda, Johanna and Martin who have been trained by Jay and Stu and therefore excel in what they do.

I would like to share an incident that involved me: I gave Johanna a prescription which had to be filled. About ½ hour later I received a personal phone call from Stuart informing me that he could not fill the prescription because the medication prescribed for me would conflict with a medication that I take and would cause an adverse reaction. He suggested that I call the physician that prescribed this medication and explain the situation. Stu also gave me the name of the medication that was similar to the one prescribed and safe for me to take.

Stu and Jay go out of their way to please you and make it known that they are truly there to help and advise you anytime you might need them.

I have 100% trust and confidence in their staff which is so important when you are dealing with different medications. Also check out their over -the counter products, as they are very competitive with large chain stores and usually cheaper in price.

When filling a prescription if they are short of the item prescribed they give you what they have in stock and assure you that the balance of the item in question will be available the following morning before 12 noon.

I recommend if you have never been to King’s Pharmacy try them once and I assure you that you will find the staff and store very unique and will return for future business. Also the parking is easy with the availability of parking spots, unlike the nightmare parking on Beach 129 Street.

Make a visit and tell Stuart or Jay that I sent you.
